DevOps Engineer – Contract (6 Months) | Hybrid, UK
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join on a 6-month contract basis. This role will involve managing, securing, and continuously improving IT application CI/CD pipelines with strong security measures. You will be hands-on across a wide range of DevOps tools and technologies, supporting automation, delivery, and release processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation testing.
2. Ensure secure and efficient software delivery processes.
3. Collaborate within Agile/DevOps teams to improve operations and workflows.
4. Troubleshoot build and release issues, ensuring high reliability and performance.
5. Support the adoption of automation, monitoring, and best practices across environments.
Essential Skills & Experience
6. Strong expertise in CI/CD automation.
7. Proficiency with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform.
8. Experience with version control and monitoring tools (e.g. Git, Grafana).
9. Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
10. Exposure to Azure cloud services.
Desirable Skills
11. Experience in the Power Transmission & Distribution domain (advantageous but not required).

13. Location: UK, hybrid (on-site days dependent on customer/project needs)
14. Rate: Market rate
