Position Overview
The Business Development Intern will support partnership development, market research, growth experiments, and operational tasks. This internship is ideal for students or early-career professionals seeking hands-on, practical experience in business development, growth strategy, and startup operations.
You will contribute directly to live projects and gain exposure to how a venture grows within a larger global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
10. Research potential partners (travel companies, pet-friendly hotels, veterinarians, pet service providers).
11. Support email/LinkedIn outreach to initiate conversations.
12. Maintain organised tracking of partner communication and status.
13. Assist with small-scale experiments (email tests, outreach variations, content ideas).
14. Document early data and performance metrics.
15. Help identify new opportunities for reach and user acquisition.
16. Analyse trends in the pet travel industry.
17. Review competitors services, pricing, and marketing approaches.
18. Prepare concise research reports for strategy planning.
19. Research topics for travel guides and blog content.
20. Identify influencers, communities, and platforms relevant to pet travel.
21. Support SEO-aligned initiatives with Pearl Lemons content team.
22. Keep lead lists and partner databases updated.
23. Track outreach performance and response metrics.
24. Maintain well-organised internal documents.
