Van Driver - Medical Supplies (Temp to Perm) Location: Washington Working Days: Tuesday-Saturday Pay: £12.73 per hour | OT after 48 hours: £19.10 per hour Contract: Temp to Perm We are recruiting a dedicated Van Driver to deliver essential medical supplies directly to patients in their homes. This is an important customer-facing role where reliability, professionalism and care are key. What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like Start times vary between 5am and 10am depending on your allocated route. You will receive your confirmed start time the day before. You will complete 25-35 deliveries per day. Using the provided scanner and tablet, you must ensure all orders are signed in correctly by the patient. Deliveries must not be handed to a third party under any circumstances. On rare occasions, you may be required to cover a night trunk when the night driver is on annual leave. This is infrequent, and all accommodation and food expenses will be covered. About You 12 months' multidrop experience is essential. Confident driving skills and the ability to spend long periods on the road. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner. As you will be handling medical supplies, a basic DBS check is required. Must be 21 years or older for vehicle insurance purposes. Maximum of 6 penalty points, with no drink or drug driving offences. PDA experience is beneficial. Flexible and willing to support occasional night trunk cover when required. Hours & Pay 9-hour shifts, Tuesday to Saturday. £12.73 per hour basic rate. £19.10 per hour overtime after 48 hours per week. Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
