Electrical Design Engineer Our client a leading engineer company who have an exciting roadmap ahead for new products, services, production capacity and business expansion. As a result of this continued success, we are expanding their teams in Dungannon. They currently have opportunities for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. Position Details? The role of the Electrical Engineer is to serve new product development (NPD), drive continuous improvement and assist the aftersales & commissioning teams of the company The Engineer will be responsible for design of 3 phase control systems, managing projects, ensuring targets & delivery dates are met, as well as providing technical expertise, interfacing with, and acting as the link between functions, and providing inter department communications. Responsibilities: Create accurate electrical schematics, bill of materials and technical documentation. Create and test PLC & HMI software (Allen Bradley & IFM Systems). Write Functional Specifications for software. Ensure all project documentation & technical files are compiled and stored correctly. Support Operations teams on improvement projects & focused improvements on products. Assist product cost reduction and product reliability improvement efforts. Directly contribute to and assist continuous improvement in line with the business demand. Support NPD (New Product Development) projects - ensuring projects needs are interpreted accurately. The successful candidate will have: Degree in an Electrical Engineering or Science discipline or equivalent qualification. Technical expertise in designing 3 phase electrical control systems. Familiarity with electrical automation. Knowledge of design of 3 phase electrical systems. Project management and analytical skills. Development of PLC Software advantageous.
