Working for our organisation Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period. Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex. High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4, 714 to a maximum of £5,941 pro rata for part time). Person specification Qualification BSc in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent Registered with HCPC Evidence of a range of CPD activities including paediatrics Introduction to Paediatric Dietetics Course or Modules 1 and 2 Paediatric Dietetic Course or equivalent Advanced Course in Paediatric Dietetics or Modules 3 and 4 Paediatric Dietetic Course Experience NHS experience (minimum 1 year) Evidence of the dietetic management of a wide range of complex clinical conditions Paediatric Enteral Feeding/Nutritional Support Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams: Minimum 1 years’ experience in Paediatric Dietetics Experience of delivering Training for Health Care Professionals. Experience of co-ordinating and delivery of Public Health campaigns. Experience of developing protocols and clinical guidelines. Experience of providing support to junior Dietetic staff.
