Main duties of the job
What are we looking for?
We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated Bank Dental Nurses to support the dental teams in the provision of dental care, primarily at these HMP's.
Your main responsibility will be to provide clinical support in a wide range of treatments for a male adult client base and assisting the team with all other aspects of running an efficient service for our patients within the prison service.
You will require initiative and strong interpersonal and communication skills to enjoy working with this specialist community and to ensure seamless care to patients.
Excellent IT and organisational skills are also an advantage to these positions and candidates should be proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and should have competent keyboard skills. Knowledge of a dental software package would be an advantage, though training will be given to the successful candidates.
The post holder, on occasion, may be asked to provide support at other HMP locations, therefore car users are desirable.
All prison sites offer NHS dental care.
Enhanced DBS and the ability to meet Ministry of Justice clearance will be required
