Seeking a fun, knowledgeable, temporary live-out nanny/governess for a family who will be in London for approximately 3 months. The role will probably start during the second week of April and should continue until the first week of July, with a usual Monday through Friday, 8am-6pm schedule. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, all daily care for two children aged 5-years-old and 18-months. Both parents will be working full-time, so expect sole charge for a majority of the time and be prepared to take on all the usual duties relating to ensuring the health and well-being of both children- nursery duties, meal prep, laundry and ironing, keeping their areas clean and tidy, taking them out to explore London, and finding fun local activities, play-groups, and parks for the children to enjoy, amongst many other things. The elder child will be continuing with her American Pre-Kindergarten curriculum so, while familiarity with the US system isn't required, experience supporting children with early maths, phonics, reading, and writing will be essential. The ideal candidate will fit brilliantly into a relatively laid-back and calm household which also values boundaries and a respectful environment. As the family are new to London, candidates must be very familiar with all that it has to offer and should be focused on ensuring the children's time in the UK is amazing There may be some proxy parenting if the parents need to travel, so flexibility to stay over if needed would be appreciated. If you are legal to work in the UK and are interested in the position, please apply to ZI227.
