Description and Requirements
We are currently looking for a Head of Commercial 4P (Category). You will be responsible for Product, Price, Place and Promotions across all of Lenovo’s commercial product lines (notebooks, desktops, workstations, tablets, visuals, services, accessories) for the UK and Ireland.
What Will You Be Responsible For?
The 4P role in Lenovo is a pivotal role in the success of the category – working alongside the Channel Sales Director and your 4P team, your key responsibilities include :
* Full P&L responsibility for all commercial product lines in the UK and Ireland delivering against revenue, margin and market share objectives
* You will manage a team of 4P Managers, each owning a product portfolio end-to-end, from market introduction to EOL with weeks of inventory KPIs
* Collaboration with supply planning, sales, operations, marketing, and finance to optimise our performance
* Collaborate with the sales teams to prepare product offerings, price setting, inventory management and promotions
* Responsible for building annual and quarterly business plans and presenting them to the EMEA leadership to obtain the support and investment needed to achieve these goals
* Driving the Lenovo relationships with alliance partners such as Intel, Microsoft, Google and AMD to maximise investments to drive the Lenovo business
* Supporting, coaching and developing your 4P team
* Ensuring a positive performance climate through listening to employees, addressing their issues and helping employees succeed in Lenovo's matrix environment
* Fosters teamwork, diversity and inclusion among all employees and the team
What Do You Need to Succeed?
* 7-10 years of product and / or business management experience with strong business and financial acumen
* Experience of managing a P&L with strong financial acumen
* Ideally previous experience with people management
* Passion for technology and a passion for numbers, and a desire to own the products end to end
* Strong understanding of Channel management and / or Channel-based sales models
* Able to demonstrate that you can convince others to follow your suggestions by using data to shape your decisions and tell the story that you want all levels of the organisation to support from EMEA and local Directors, to marketing and sales teams.
* Strong networking skills, you would be expected to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
* Confident and flexible presenter depending on the audience
* Good analytical approach, be able to quickly draw conclusions from company data or market research
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
