Position
We are looking for a Group Business Director based at our London office to drive new business development for the group. The role entails delivering the sales strategy and targets, leading a small sales team, and establishing/optimising procedures to enhance the sales process while engaging/developing relationships with key clients across various industries.
The role
You will be a consultative business development professional, currently working or having recently worked in the market research sector to support the group win new business primarily but not exclusively from the key target sectors (financial services, technology, media & entertainment, health & life sciences, consumer & retail, travel & Leisure, energy & utilities and b2b). Some of our key clients include AMEX, Microsoft, Nestle. Sanofi, Shell, ITV and many others.

Requirements
What we are looking for
* A collaborative, smart, driven and entrepreneurial candidate. Someone who challenges the status-quo and has high levels of emotional intelligence
* Experience of working within a research, insights, consultancy environment
* Experience of working with clients from some of the agreed sectors
* Comfortable engaging with a wide range of client stakeholders, including C-Suite as well as senior Marketing and Insight teams.
* Strong communication skills and comfortable presenting to large groups
* Proven track record in hitting targets and developing strong client relationships
* Highly experienced in the established consultative sales process and other selling techniques
* Comfortable using social selling platforms and tools to find, attract and connect with new prospects. Experience in using Hubspot would be a plus

* Up to £70,000
* Hybrid/ flexible working
* 25 days holiday plus UK bank holidays (Christmas closure – 3 days additional to entitlement – discretionary and non-contractual leave)
* Each additional year after 2 years service – 1 additional holiday day, up to a maximum of 5 additional days holiday (after 6 years service)
* Ability to buy up to 3 days holiday
* Max leave that can be taken in the holiday year is 33 days, when carrying over days or buying holidays
