Job Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, banking, and cash flow management.
2. Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including intercompany transactions, accruals, and asset management.
3. Ensure accurate results by business line.
4. Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
5. Ensure that the accounting provides relevant and reliable information both at Group and Local level.
6. Support Finning Tax team with VAT and corporate tax submissions.
7. Prepare audit files and coordinate local audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
8. Ensure accurate and timely management accounting and financial reporting.
9. Support Group Manager Finance with strategic information, forecasting, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
* Proficient in ERP systems (preferably INFOR M3) and advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* High level of numeracy and attention to detail.
