Job Title: Senior EC&I Engineer Location: Maidstone (Hybrid working available) Overview: An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join a growing engineering environment delivering complex plant-based projects. This role will involve leading EC&I activities across the full project lifecycle, from design through to commissioning and handover, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate EC&I engineering activities across multiple projects Develop, review, and approve electrical, control, and instrumentation designs and documentation Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g. ATEX, GAMP, IEC, BS/EN) Oversee the selection and integration of EC&I systems in line with safety and process requirements Work closely with subcontractors, site teams, and engineers to ensure successful delivery Carry out risk assessments and contribute to HAZOP and safety reviews Support commissioning, testing, and validation of systems Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, process, and project teams Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineersRequirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, or similar Minimum of 8 years' experience in EC&I engineering ...
