ISS are recruiting an Assistant Facilities Manager to ensure the safe, compliant, and competent delivery of facility services at our clients' site in Warrington.
This is a pivotal role focused on maintaining service excellence and supporting an outstanding workplace experience for customers. As a key point of contact for local site stakeholders, you will ensure that all services meet agreed standards, outcomes, and performance targets.
You will report to the Regional Facilities Manager and supervise site-based facility teams (Placemakers), working collaboratively to uphold high levels of safety, compliance, and operational consistency.
This role requires a proactive, organised, and confident leader capable of managing day‑to‑day operations and resolving challenges efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Support the contract management team in delivering and developing service solutions, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Maintain a safe and secure environment, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
Manage rostering of engineering, cleaning, and facility staff to meet contractual requirements and cover planned/unplanned absences.
Ensure all documentation—audits, COSHH records, H&S materials, SOPs—is accurate, current, and reviewed as required.
Oversee recruitment, training, and ongoing development of frontline Placemakers.
Deliver services in a commercially responsible manner, ensuring cost control within agreed plans.
Record, manage, and resolve customer queries and complaints in line with established processes.
Complete all reporting, paperwork, and administration accurately and within required timeframes.

Supervisory experience within a facilities, engineering, or cleaning services environment.
