We’re working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add an experienced Shift Maintenance Electrician to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.
Shift Electrician
Average 42 hour working week
4 Days on 4 Days off, Days and Nights
You will be responsible for servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment, including Fault diagnosis and repair, continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and reviewing/checking designs and drawing on installation projects.
To be successful, we would like you to have:
* A recognised industrial Electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition or Level 3 Electrical Engineering)
* Have experience working as a Shift Electrician or as a dedicated Electrical Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.
* Experience in the print, packaging or associated industries would be great but is not essential.
* Experience with maintenance programmes.
* Experience with PLCs and Drives would be beneficial.
* Ideally experience working a buddy system with a Mechanical Engineer.
* Have good communication, organisational and team work skills.
* Self motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination.
Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM.
