Each one of our service users are different and their independence goals are personalised to them. Adaptability is at the core of who we are as a service, respecting that each client is an individual is the key to success! Now, there may be some reoccurring themes around developing independence such as: Attending appointments, weekly shopping etc. Emotional and mental wellbeing support. Administering and assisting with medication. Support with budgeting and understanding finances. Preparing and/or supporting with meal preparation. Health and fitness activities such as swimming, gym, trampoline parks etc. Building social skills through leisure activities like bowling, pool, meals out. Promoting independent travel with support on public transport services. The options are almost endless and we are looking for individuals with a drive to make a difference and seek new opportunities for our service users to make the most out of their support and strive to reach their individual goals.
