Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours/week, any 5 out of 7 days

JOB PURPOSE
Aligned with the Fragrance & Beauty vision and mission, the Account Manager will lead an energetic and passionate team dedicated to creating memorable experiences for clients. Responsible for all retail activities that uphold the brand’s image and market leadership, liaising with field and head office functions. The role involves managing the daily operations of the counter and coaching the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading the team: guiding team members towards achieving results and developing their talents, fostering an environment of ethics, integrity, and diversity, managing employee relations issues with support, facilitating communication, sharing the brand vision, and holding the team accountable.
* Create an environment rich with ethics, integrity, and diversity, leading to positive team collaboration.
* Address employee relations issues with support from Retail Development Manager, in line with company policies.
* Facilitate team and individual communication to ensure collective knowledge.
* Share brand vision and business challenges, empowering the team while maintaining accountability.
Business developer: embodying an entrepreneurial spirit
* Build CHANEL’s client portfolio through data capture aligned with brand standards.
* Develop business initiatives in line with brand strategy.
* Manage staff rotas and operational zoning for optimal client experience.
* Communicate stock needs to relevant parties.
* Understand the business environment thoroughly.
* Report and provide feedback to influence strategies.
Experience creator: creating conditions for a consistent and memorable experience
* Lead by example on the selling floor, providing personalized client experiences and building long-term relationships.
* Embrace omni-channel shopping trends and digital integration.
* Resolve client service complaints holistically to ensure satisfaction across channels.
* Ensure the team has the tools and training to deliver the CHANEL client experience.
* Maintain visual merchandising standards and a welcoming counter environment.
