Position
We are looking to elevate our team with a hands-on Manager - Warehouse, Fulfillment & Facilities responsible for leading the operational performance of the industrial products group. The primary goal is to foster a metrics-driven, empowered team environment with streamlined activities that enable and encourage team members to work more effectively.
Responsibilities
Areas of responsibility include:
* Supervision of 3 associates
* Daily Operations Team huddle
* Purchasing, Inventory Control, Warehouse, Showroom, Order Processing, and Fulfillment
* Logistics (Inbound and Outbound)
* Status Reporting (Supplier Delivery, Back orders, Revenue projections, On-Time Delivery)
* Quality Control (Incoming from suppliers, Outgoing to customers)
* Facilities Management
Typical warehouse and fulfillment activities include:
* Overseeing order processing to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
* Managing and reporting back-order status
* Communicating with product manufacturers and suppliers
* Purchasing raw materials, consumables, parts, and supplies
* Maintaining appropriate inventory levels
* Unloading deliveries, checking products, and performing quality control
* Overseeing product processing, packaging, labeling, and inventory adjustments
* Coordinating freight shipments and obtaining freight quotes
* Preparing outgoing shipments and overseeing documentation
* Performing quality control checks on outbound products
* Managing showroom and consignment inventory
* Other duties as assigned
Typical facilities management activities include:
* Scheduling cleaning and maintenance
* Monitoring workplace safety and addressing issues
* Scheduling outside services and grounds maintenance
* Managing waste and recycling
* Other duties as assigned
The role is expected to evolve over time, including:
* Implementing standard operating procedures
* Providing insights and suggestions for improvements
* Recommending system enhancements
* Training and mentoring associates
* Participating in Continuous Improvement events
* Clarifying role activities and expectations
Compensation
