Role Purpose
The role holder responsibility is for the safe and efficient cleaning of aircraft cabins. Some of the duties will include preparing cleaning solvents for use, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, disinfecting of the aircraft cabin.
What you will be doing
1. Remove blankets and pillows and replace them with clean ones
2. Ensure all cleaning solvents are stored correctly after use
3. Ensure that all cleaning equipment is in working order and that all protective clothing is worn as instructed
4. Deposit all soiled linens into laundry bins
5. Adhere to Menzies uniform guidelines and code of conduct
6. Operate small specialized commercial vehicles
7. Maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures
8. Conduct physical search of empty interiors and accessible exterior of the aircraft to detect prohibited articles and unlawful interferences that may jeopardize the security of the aircraft.
9. Follow all TSA, airline, local and/or federal security mandates regarding security and reporting any tampering and prohibited items.
10. Provide ramp guard services to ensure that only authorized personnel are servicing the aircraft.
11. Provide catering security offsite by fully inspecting catering truck interior and exterior to include galley carts, food trays, vehicle seats, under carriage and glove compartments.
12. Adhere to all safety policies, rules, and directives.
13. Adheres to company uniform and code of conduct. Abiding the Menzies Attendance policy.
14. Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:
15. Must be 18 years of age or older
16. Possess and maintain valid US driver's license
17. Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing to include drug testing and a physical
18. Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
19. Must be comfortable lifting 70 lbs repetitively
20. Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/seals
21. Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
22. The job is done both in and outdoors which will require you to work in all weather conditions
23. Previous cabin cleaning experience preferred
