About Fixed Income and Liquidity Solutions
This team offers a global suite of fixed income and money market portfolio solutions, managing assets for pension funds, endowments, foundations, financial institutions, insurers, and high net worth individuals. They focus on traditional investment grade products and opportunistic/distressed investments.
Your Impact as a Strategist
Within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, quantitative engineering strategists are at the forefront, solving real-world problems with analytical methods. Collaborating with portfolio managers across asset classes, their quantitative insights influence our business and investment decisions.
As part of the team, you will leverage your expertise in mathematics, programming, and logical thinking to develop models that drive success. Your research, analysis, and innovation will enable you to solve a wide range of problems in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
* Collaborate with portfolio managers to build quantitative models and tools for portfolio management.
* Develop scalable, adaptable production systems for a fast-paced global environment.
* Create quantitative analytics and signals using advanced statistical and econometric techniques to enhance portfolio construction and performance.
* Build robust data management and analysis tools to support investment processes.
* Implement models and analytics into production-quality software.
Qualifications
* Background in a quantitative discipline (mathematics, engineering, physics, computer science), with a preference for Masters or PhDs.
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
* Ability to develop innovative solutions to business challenges.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language and experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams.
