An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in a well-established Same Day Access service for Weymouth and Portland Primary Care Network (PCN).
The service aims to manage acute on-the-day demand, working with a defined number of conditions which has been steadily increasing since the commencement of the service in 2023.
Interviews are planned to take place on 23rd and 25th June.
Main duties of the job
The role involves delivering face-to-face appointments. The clinicians providing the PCN Same Day Access Service will work together from the same site, with support available from a duty GP as needed.
This role is ideally suited to Paramedics, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and enhanced nurses.
There is scope for development within the role, including non-medical prescribing, IRMER training, FCP roadmap to practice, and triage.
