A highly regarded independent Commercial Broker is currently looking to add remote Commercial Account Handlers to their teams for both new business and renewals. They seek driven professionals with previous commercial insurance experience to support a diverse client base.
The Account Handler will assist the Account Executive with managing client portfolios, including contract renewals. They will be the first point of contact for external queries, requiring skills to meet client expectations.
This is a remote position with occasional office visits.
About the role:
* Deliver high-quality, efficient service to clients.
* Work closely with Account Executives to provide insurance services to existing and potential customers.
* Manage clients ranging from small to large corporate risks.
* Ensure all documentation for placing, amending, or renewing insurance is completed accurately and promptly.
* Promote a professional company image and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key skills/experience required:
* Experience in commercial insurance account handling with relevant technical knowledge.
* Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent relationship-building abilities.
* Experience with Acturis software.
* Ability to work under pressure and process large amounts of information quickly.
* Influencing and negotiation skills.
* Progression towards CII qualifications is supported but not essential.
