Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef for new opening in mid April to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety are maintained. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious meals in a dynamic environment.
Duties
* Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
* Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and freshness
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
* Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during meal service
* Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment
Requirements
* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings
* Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
* Experience in meal preparation and kitchen organisation
* Excellent understanding of food presentation and quality control
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Previous experience serving customers or working in a hospitality environment is desirable
* Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

* pizza maker: 2 years (preferred)
