About the Role
We will make Trafford a place powered by creative and cultural activity which improves lives and life chances. Reporting to the Director of Cultural Transformation, this role will help activate Trafford Council’s Cultural Strategy (2023-2028). Workstreams include the Cultural Transformation Hub, Our Creative Lives, heritage framework for Trafford, the online listing platform Trafford Is, and a focus on creative health.
Your main priorities
* Providing an effective and efficient administrative and finance support function to the Director of Cultural Transformation.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and other stakeholders to meet the Cultural Strategy activation needs, ensuring seamless coordination between the live workstreams and delivery.

About you
You will be excited by the vision of the Cultural Strategy, and keen to play your part in bringing the vision to life. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all participants at all levels, including in written, verbal and electronic formats. You bring proven experience in administrative and/or business support roles, preferably within a cultural or creative setting, which you have knowledge of or interest in. You enjoy exercising your strong organisational skills, including servicing meetings and minute-taking, have a keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver to competing deadlines within appropriate timescales. You are able to prioritise your workload and manage your time, and work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
