What You Will Be Doing
* Deliver high-quality woodland management and forestry contracting services to both existing and new clients.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Prepare client budgets, reports, and manage work programmes and grant applications.
* Oversee and manage productive forestry operations.
* Lead the planning and implementation of new woodland creation projects.
* Collaborate with local teams in forestry, business development, forest investment, and harvesting.
* Manage and grow a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service and long-term value.
* Focus on delivering high-quality forest management and maximizing client experience.
What You Need
* Proven experience in forestry or a related sector.
* Strong understanding of commercial practices and relationship management.
* Knowledge of upland conifer forest management.
* Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong commercial and client relationship management skills.
* Business development experience (preferred).
* Familiarity with the UK Forester Standard and UKWAS.
* Knowledge of Forestry Grant Schemes (desirable).
* Professional membership (e.g., Institute of Chartered Foresters) is a plus.
* Full UK driving license (required for travel across the region).
