Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Exams Officer to oversee the smooth administration of examinations within our educational centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating exam schedules, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support to students and staff throughout the examination period. Responsibilities
* Organise and manage the scheduling of examinations in accordance with institutional policies and external regulations.
* Prepare examination venues, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are available and correctly set up.
* Liaise with teaching staff, students, and external examination bodies to facilitate smooth examination processes.
* Supervise examinations to uphold integrity, fairness, and compliance with established guidelines.
* Maintain accurate records of candidate attendance, results, and other relevant documentation.
* Address any issues or irregularities that arise during examinations promptly and professionally.
* Provide guidance and support to students regarding examination procedures and requirements.
* Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to during all examination activities.
Qualifications
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with staff, students, and external bodies.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in record keeping.
* Ability to work under pressure during busy examination periods.
