Trainee Service Advisor – Honda Canterbury
About the Role
Working collaboratively in a small and efficient team, the successful candidate will be handling a multitude of tasks throughout the day with professionalism and diligence and have a keen eye for accuracy and detail. From checking customers in, to arranging appointments, advising customers of additional repairs and invoicing, you will be organised in your approach to the working day to ensure each task is completed in full and to a high standard.
As the first point of contact for all after-sales customers, a helpful and welcoming manner ensures a good first impression. Whilst the day gets busier, the successful candidate will need to be able to keep calm under pressure, listen carefully to instructions, and follow procedures thoroughly.
Providing an exceptional experience for customers who are new to our business, whilst continuing to build a strong rapport with our existing and loyal customer base, is essential, ensuring excellence in customer care is the main priority of each working day.
Skills Required:
· Excellent standards of customer service in person, on the phone and through digital communications
· A full, clean driver’s licence
· Ability to listen carefully and follow instructions/processes fully
· Strong work ethic
· Strong focus on the tasks at hand to ensure a calm and controlled flow to the day
· Computer literacy and ability to learn new software and systems
· Good level of numeracy and literacy
· Ability to work independently and self-sufficiently (once fully trained)
· Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team
· Effective time management and ability to prioritise tasks
· Self-motivation to exceed departmental targets in sales and customer care
