About the Role
We are looking to recruit a Repairs Supervisor to join us, based in Basildon.
Joining us as a Repairs Supervisor, you will lead a team as part of a project or defined work stream, driving excellent service standards and achievement of KPIs. You will assess resource requirements and support the management of daily activities, ensuring all team objectives are met within time, cost, and budget constraints.
You will manage team performance in line with company policy, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities. You’ll hold regular review meetings, coach, mentor, and motivate staff, and identify development needs. You’ll also resolve complaints, inform management, and implement action plans to address areas of dissatisfaction.
About You
Candidates should have significant technical knowledge from a trade background (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry) and extensive proven experience. With sound knowledge of construction methods, technology, and materials, you’ll possess excellent time management, IT, and influencing skills, along with a proactive and flexible approach. A Level 3 trade qualification or Supervisor NVQ and a Blue CSCS card are required.
We’re seeking someone with a strong track record in asset/project management and delivering major works contracts, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. Experience in social housing is highly desirable.
You must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months.
