Junior quantity surveyor

Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a major industrial construction project. Working as part of an established commercial and project delivery team, you will support the management of contractor and subcontractor packages throughout both the pre-contract and post-contract phases of the project lifecycle. This role offers excellent exposure to large-scale engineering and construction works and would suit an individual looking to further develop their commercial and contract management experience within a complex project environment. Key Responsibilities Pre-Contract Activities Support the preparation and administration of confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements. Assist with supplier and contractor pre-qualification activities, including Expressions of Interest (EOIs). Prepare and issue tender documentation, including Invitations to Tender (ITT), Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Proposal (RFP). Coordinate bidder communications and ensure technical queries are addressed through the appropriate project disciplines. Assist in organising tender kick-off meetings and bidder site visits. Participate in tender evaluations and bid clarification meetings. Support the preparation of commercial evaluations and contract award recommendations.
