As our Communications Executive, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering impactful communication strategies that elevate our brands, promote our events, engage and inform our fans. In this role, you will lead communication efforts, manage crisis communications and align messaging with our goals. You will collaborate with our internal team and external agencies to deliver impactful messaging and amplify our brand presence across various channels.

The Marketing and Communications team at DF Concerts is made up of a diverse group of individuals, all sharing a passion for what they do in their roles. We have a helpful, open, and approachable nature which helps to build relationships within the team and the wider company and allows for collaborative working. Who you are

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

1. Significant experience in a fast-paced PR or communications role.
2. Excellent copywriting, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
3. Solid understanding of event promotion, media relations, and marketing/communications strategies.
4. Excellent knowledge of best practices across all communications channels.
5. Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and tools like Mailchimp, Canva, and Monday.com.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects, work efficiently under pressure, and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
7. In-depth knowledge of performance metrics, campaign reporting, and conducting customer research.
8. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency.
9. A passion for all things PR and communications and a strong desire to learn, create, contribute, and innovate.
10. Familiarity with sustainability messaging and a proactive, flexible approach to teamwork and independent work.
11. The drive to take initiative, work independently, and be accountable while also working as a team player who is collaborative, positive, and flexible.

Responsibilities

18. Support and execute the communications strategy for all DF brands, aligning with business goals and enhancing brand visibility while ensuring consistent, engaging, and concise messaging.
19. Implement internal, external, and crisis communications strategies that align with company goals and strategic framework.
20. Manage relationships with PR agencies, media, influencers, and industry partners to secure coverage and handle press enquiries.
21. Lead influencer partnerships and create impactful campaigns that amplify event awareness, drive ticket sales, and enhance brand visibility through authentic content creation and targeted audience engagement.
22. Write and distribute press releases, website content, customer communications, media responses, and official statements while acting as the primary media contact.
23. Manage and deliver all event customer communications with clear, consistent, and concise messaging.
24. Liaise with journalists, reviewers, and photographers to arrange permission and passes for all DF events.
25. Coordinate in-person and remote (phone, zoom or email) interviews between artists and journalists.
26. Collaborate with the marketing and design team to produce engaging content for various channels and ensure consistent branding across all materials.
27. Craft engaging, targeted messages tailored to specific channels and audience segments.
28. Track and report on performance metrics, including media coverage, social media engagement, communication campaigns results, and influencer impact.
29. Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities and best practices in communications and live events to identify growth opportunities.
30. Attend live events to capture and create engaging content for use across various digital platforms.
31. Manage out-of-hours communication issues and represent the communications team in the Joint Agency Control Centre at summer events.
