Role Overview - What is it?

The Recruitment Resourcer plays a key supporting role within the Talent team, working closely with Talent and Resourcing Specialists to ensure a proactive, values-driven, and efficient recruitment process.

Reporting to the Talent and Resourcing Manager, the Resourcer will be responsible for sourcing high-quality candidates, coordinating recruitment activity, and contributing to an inclusive and engaging candidate experience.

With a strong focus on candidate care, compliance, and administrative excellence, the Resourcer will help ensure the organisation attracts and engages talent who are aligned with its values, purpose, and culture.

Main Duties - What needs to be done?

Candidate Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

* Proactively source candidates using job boards, CV databases, LinkedIn, and other social and professional platforms.
* Build and maintain talent pools for commonly recruited roles, ensuring diverse and inclusive representation.
* Support the promotion of roles through engaging, inclusive, and values-aligned advertising copy and targeted outreach.
* Engage passive candidates and conduct initial outreach conversations to assess interest and suitability.

Recruitment Coordination & Administration

* Support the scheduling and coordination of interviews, assessments, and hiring events.
* Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely, respectful, and values-based engagement.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring GDPR compliance.
* Support recruitment compliance checks, including eligibility to work, references, and other pre-employment screening.

Collaboration & Support

* Work closely with Talent and Resourcing Specialists to prioritise roles, manage pipelines, and support role-specific campaigns.
* Collaborate with the People and L&D teams to ensure a smooth transition from offer to onboarding.
* Attend team meetings and recruitment planning sessions, contributing ideas and feedback for continuous improvement.

Candidate Experience & Employer Brand

* Act as a first point of contact for candidate queries, providing friendly and professional support.
* Promote the organisation's values and purpose in all candidate interactions.
* Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the candidate journey, including gathering feedback and identifying opportunities for enhancement.

Other Duties

* Support recruitment-related reporting and data collation for internal stakeholders.
* Take part in recruitment fairs, outreach events, and internal campaigns as required.
* Contribute to broader Talent & People projects that align with the organisation's values and growth plans.

* Confident communication through various channels including via the phone and email
* Knowledge on candidate interaction through using a variety of recruitment tools
* Ability to follow a candidate journey, from application through to onboarding
* Strong internal and external stakeholder skills
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Have the ability to prioritise tasks
* Strong IT skills and the ability to record detailed notes on various systems
* Have good communication skills
* Be flexible and adaptable
