Overview
The Vacancy: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a responsive maintenance contract within the social housing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team working across a broad geographical patch, with flexibility to work between office and site.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the commercial management of responsive maintenance works across social housing properties.
* Support cost control, valuations, and subcontractor payments.
* Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and forecasts.
* Liaise with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Contribute to the preparation of tenders and contract documentation.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a social housing or maintenance environment preferred.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
* Willingness to travel across the patch (Redditch to Milton Keynes).
* Full UK Driving Licence.
