We have an exciting opportunity to join a 3-year programme to implement cutting-edge machinery and the necessary IT changes for configuration and operation.
The Role Will Include
* Setting up, planning, organizing, controlling, and delivering projects on time, within scope and budget.
* Enabling business capabilities through IT.
* Contributing to IT cost-saving initiatives.
* Managing program increments to align teams, stakeholders, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to understand IT requirements and dependencies.
* Serving as the primary IT contact, providing updates on delivery, finances, risks, and issues.
* Developing and maintaining IT integration strategies and plans.
* Planning, executing, and delivering IT activities through a structured UKIT Programme, including workstreams.
* Managing integration of new systems with existing IT infrastructure, engaging with UK IT, suppliers, and solution providers.
* Ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow as the primary systems integration contact.
* Managing relationships with external IT vendors.
* Creating and maintaining documentation related to IT processes.
* Ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
This project involves installing one of the first machine types in the UK, with around 90 IT changes needed to enable its functionality.
This role is primarily IT project management with an engineering background to complement.
Onsite presence is required 4 days a week; local candidates are preferred.
