A well-established independent garage in Dartford is expanding and looking for a skilled MOT Tester and Service Technician to join its busy, professional workshop.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified tester who enjoys steady, straightforward work without the pressure of major engine rebuilds or complex diagnostic jobs.
The workshop has a strong local reputation, a consistent workflow, and offers genuine work-life balance with no weekend commitments.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
* Completing routine servicing and basic mechanical work
* Identifying and reporting any additional repair requirements
* Maintaining accurate job records and compliance documentation
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements
* Valid MOT Tester licence
* Experience carrying out routine servicing and light mechanical repairs
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy independent workshop
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Salary and Benefits
* £39,000 – £42,000 salary
* Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm (30-minute lunch)
* No weekends
* Closed from Christmas to New Year
