Role Description
This is a term time role based in Hertfordshire for a Nursery Manager. The Nursery Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and education for children. Key responsibilities include managing staff, implementing safeguarding policies, developing curriculum plans, maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines, and fostering positive relationships with parents and guardians. The role requires leadership, strategic planning, and a focus on creating an enriching and safe child-centered environment.
Qualifications
* Experience and expertise in Nursery Management, including maintaining a well-run and organized childcare setting
* A strong understanding and practical application of Safeguarding and Safeguarding Children practices
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, staff, and families
* Relevant childcare or education qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development, or equivalent
* Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and early childhood education frameworks
* Proven leadership experience and the ability to manage, motivate, and inspire a team
