A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Macclesfield are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team from September 2025 on a long-term basis.
About the Role:
* Start-date: 1st September
* Ongoing/long-term with potential opportunity for a permanent contract
* Competitive daily rate
You will be working alongside class teachers to support the learning and development of pupils in KS1. This role includes assisting with classroom activities, helping to manage behaviour positively, and providing tailored support to individual pupils or small groups as needed.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience working with children preferably in an educational setting
* Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic about early years education
* Be able to work effectively as part of a team
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
