Job Description
A leading international law firm is seeking a non-contentious construction lawyer (2-8 years') to join its growing team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major UK and international projects while developing deep sector expertise within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
The Opportunity
The role offers exposure to a wide range of high-profile projects across real estate development, energy, infrastructure and transport. The successful candidate will advise a diverse client base including developers, project companies, funders, contractors and suppliers.
You will have the opportunity to:
* Run matters with an appropriate level of autonomy
* Take ownership of client relationships
* Work as part of multi-office teams on large-scale, complex transactions

Key Responsibilities
* Advising on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters
* Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, appointments and collateral warranties
* Supporting and leading transactions across multiple sectors
* Managing client relationships and contributing to business development
* Keeping abreast of legal, market and sector developments
About You
* 2-8 years’ PQE in non-contentious construction
* Experience in energy, real estate or infrastructure projects
* Familiarity with standard form contracts (e.g. NEC, FIDIC)
* Scottish or England & Wales qualified
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach
