We are seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to join our team at Devonport on a permanent basis
In this role you will assist the growing People & Onboarding Team with processing candidates through Security Clearance on site at Devonport in line with our Client's Onboarding requirements. You will also liaise with our Onboarding team & Business Operations to understand resourcing needs and process approved candidates all the way through to their start date.
How You Will Make An Impact
Coordinate new onboarding from candidate, following the Security Clearance process all the way through to new start, liaising with our Client on site who own the Screening & Vetting process.
Support candidates through Onboarding, by assisting with BPSS pack completion, chasing of incomplete information and managing a resource pipeline.
Administrative focussed role that will require a large amount of time chasing, checking, completing system and updating trackers.
Book and facilitate visitors on site in line with requirements.
Process weekly starters and leavers in conjunction and issue relevant letters, and maintain this from a HR System and filing point of view.
Administer HR-related documentation, including new starter pack and contracts of employment, ensuring that documents of personal records, right to work and equal opportunity are accurately maintained and maintain employee E-Files accurately
Assist with recruitment and selection on site of weekly and monthly paid positions.
Provide support with the wider HR team to ensure efficient delivery of HR Services to the business.
Work alongside the Training Department to book new starts onto relevant mandatory training.
Ensure onboarding of weekly paid new starters is conducted efficiently and professionally and where necessary carry out induction of weekly & salaried staff.
Assist with ad hoc projects as and when required.
What You Will Bring
Essential
Strong administration skills with the ability to manage and coordinate complex documentation and reports
Ability to work autonomously and manage own workloads
Ability to build confidence and respect from each department and key stakeholders.
Demonstrable effective prioritisation, time-management and workload planning skills.
Understanding of HR principles and Employment Law with a good knowledge of working rule agreements and Union activity
Experience of being part of change initiatives and/or implementing change
Experience of delivery in line with a people strategy and business needs
Willing to travel to all operational sites throughout the UK
Excellent PC skills, including Office applications specifically: PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Outlook, as well as time management and HR systems.
Desirable
Holds or working towards relevant HR qualification
Holds or working towards a relevant Administration/Business support qualification
