What You Can Expect
As a Clinical Sales Specialist (CSS) you will be integral to the daily management of any successful sales region. You will work alongside Sales Representatives, Key Account Managers, and Sales Managers to service hospitals and provide technical support to all stakeholders within our customer base.
Additionally, you will deliver bespoke training to ensure Surgeons and Scrub Staff are competent to operate safely and efficiently with Zimmer Biomet products during surgery, providing real‑time support to cases.
How You’ll Create Impact
* Give technical advice in the OR on Zimmer Biomet Recon products
* Provide training in the use of Zimmer Biomet products
* Generate sales leads within Platinum & Silver customers
* Manage logistics around procedure planning and consignment stock
* Provide onsite support for product demonstrations and educational initiatives
* Follow all internal communication and documentation policies (QA)
* Adhere to divisional sales strategies under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager
* Devote adequate time to acquiring the necessary knowledge of Zimmer Biomet and competitive products
* Maintain up‑to‑date Salesforce records for accounts
* Attend sales meetings, exhibitions, staff training, etc. as required by the Regional Sales Manager
* Report monthly to the Regional Sales Manager outlining performance, activities and competitive situation

Your Background
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
* Strong networking capabilities and sound business acumen to identify, plan, and execute services
* Strong knowledge in orthopedics, with specific knowledge of competitor products and strategies
* Significant level of clinical expertise
* Strong presentation skills, customer centricity, relationship and communication skills
* Entrepreneurial, target‑oriented and organizational skills
* Analysis and problem‑solving capabilities
* Team spirit and willingness to learn
Travel Expectations
Travel within region with occasional overnight travel required.
