Qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant – South Liverpool
EYFS Teaching Assistant- L19
Milk Education is proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected primary school in South Liverpool (L19) to recruit a dedicated and compassionate EYFS Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting immediately. This will be on the basis of supply, with the potential to go to a permenant contract after 8 weeks.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will provide vital classroom support to the class teacher, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your role will involve working with small groups of pupils who require additional academic support, as well as offering one-to-one assistance to children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), as needed.
The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing, and flexible, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development. You will play an essential role in promoting both the educational progress and emotional well-being of all pupils, working within a caring and structured setting
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
2. Support small groups of pupils and provide one-to-one assistance when needed
3. Prepare learning materials and assist in delivering educational activities
4. Encourage a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
Requirements:
5. Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism and Complex Needs
6. Early Years Teaching qualified
7. Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills
9. Commitment to supporting the child’s academic and emotional development
