Role Description
Full Event Fundraising is seeking professional, reliable freelance event staff to support the delivery of live and silent charity auctions at fundraising events across the UK. Our team plays a vital role in ensuring auctions run smoothly, guests feel supported, and charities achieve the strongest possible fundraising results.
This role is ideal for confident, organised individuals who enjoy working in fast paced event environments such as gala dinners, sports club events, corporate functions, and charity balls.
Key Responsibilities
Event Setup and Preparation
Assist with setting up silent auction displays, brochures, signage, and bidding areas
Prepare iPads or electronic bidding devices where required
Guest Support During the Event
Assist guests with understanding how the auction works
Encourage participation in the silent auction and answer guest questions
Help guests place bids using brochures or electronic systems
Live Auction and Pledge Support
Assist the auctioneer and event manager during live auction segments
Record bids clearly and accurately when required
Help identify winning bidders and confirm bid values
Post Auction Duties
Help coordinate payment processing where required
Support packing down auction materials and equipment
Ensure all paperwork and devices are returned to the event manager
Skills and Experience Required
Previous event, hospitality, fundraising, or customer facing experience preferred
Confident speaking with guests in a professional and friendly manner
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Calm under pressure and able to work in busy environments
Reliable, punctual, and well presented
Comfortable using tablets or basic digital systems
