Branch Overview The Bonnyrigg branch dispenses approximately 5000 items per month and is a relatively quiet branch. Our pharmacy utilizes Medipac robotic distribution technology, freeing up your time to provide the care our patients deserve. Over-the-counter sales are around £4,500 per month.
What We Offer Competitive Salary: £26 per hour (£40,560 per annum)
Generous Holiday Allowance: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 32 days with length of service

Key Responsibilities Dispense Prescription Medications: Accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
Patient Support: Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
Collaborative Care: Work with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
Medication Management: Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
Immunization Services: Provide immunization services where applicable
OTC Advice: Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
Health Promotion: Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives
What We Require Registered Pharmacist: Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Commitment to Patient Care: Strong dedication to patient care and safety
Excellent Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team and Independent Work: Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
