Overview

We are hiring Full-Time Sales Assistants to join one of our exciting stores based in Brighton. This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, with proposed flexibility Monday to Sunday.

We don’t look at CVs—just your answers to our application questions about customer service. Applications are anonymous until the interview stage to help eliminate unconscious bias. The role involves delivering a high-quality shopping experience for our guests and representing the brand on the high street.


The Role

As a Sales Assistant, you are the heartbeat of our business. You will showcase our diverse products and go above and beyond for all customers. Your objective is to help provide the best shopping experience and to create a first-class experience for our customers. You will receive in-depth training on our products, their specifications, fabric and weather durability, care, and best matched product companions, making you a well-rounded Footasylum Sales Ambassador.

From day one you will receive training on our products and how to advise customers to create sets, add-ons, and fits that suit their needs. You will be involved in creating a positive shopping experience through service, attitude and behaviours.

Note: You must bring your Right to Work documentation to the interview in order for us to progress with your application.


About you

Don’t worry too much about previous experience. We are looking for outgoing people with a friendly, organised, can-do attitude. You will be positive and approachable, not shy, and able to approach customers with ease to start enthusiastic conversations.


Responsibilities

* Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
* Make customers feel like VIPs with your service, ensuring they leave with a great impression of the shop.
* Become a PRO on all products, helping customers make choices that suit their needs and preferences.
* Provide expert product knowledge and advice to customers.
* Collaborate with colleagues to hit store targets and deliver excellent service as a team.
* Keep the store clean and inviting, maintaining an organised and visually appealing environment.
* Engage in training sessions to grow both personally and professionally.
* Stay up to date with current trends and product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
* Handle transactions with a smile and ensure each purchase enhances the shopping experience.

On the shop floor, you will be the go-to person for customer questions, resolving issues, and ensuring customers are genuinely cared for.

Under 18 working restrictions
