Line Chef Role Overview
Our Line Chefs are responsible for producing all menu items in an efficient and consistent manner. This role reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and is part of a team based at our attractive hotel in Northampton (NN4 7YF).
Line Chef duties include:
1. Cooking food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods according to specified recipes and standards.
2. Facilitating special requests from guests when received.
3. Managing wastage through correct product measurement.
4. Ensuring adherence to all kitchen SOPs at all times.
5. Setting up and stocking food items and necessary supplies.
Beyond these responsibilities, you'll represent our company values and culture, ensuring service excellence remains our top priority.
Other titles for this role include Prep Cook, Line Cook, Commis Chef, or Chef de Partie.

What you’ll bring to the team
An ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Demonstrable experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook is essential. Familiarity with industry best practices and Basic Food Safety is required.
