We are currently seeking two Maintenance Engineers to join in Peterborough. With two distinct shift patterns available, we offer the flexibility to suit your lifestyle alongside a highly competitive salary.The RoleAs a Mechanical Biased Maintenance Engineer, you will be the backbone of our operational efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring that all plant machinery and facilities systems are maintained to the highest standards, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.Key Responsibilities:
* Reactive & Planned Maintenance: Execute PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) schedules and respond rapidly to mechanical breakdowns.
* System Diagnostics: Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and pumping systems.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance machinery performance and safety protocols.
* Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety regulations and company standards.
Shift PatternsWe are currently recruiting for two separate roles. Please indicate your preference during the application process:

The CandidateWe are looking for proactive, "hands-on" engineers who take pride in their technical expertise.
* Qualification: Level 3 (NVQ/City & Guilds) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical drive systems, bearings, and welding/fabrication.
* Mindset: A "safety-first" approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a multi-skilled team.
