What does a typical day in the life of a Stores Operative involve? Managing equipment within the warehouse and refurbishment department, ensuring items are received, recorded, cleaned, maintained, and dispatched efficiently. Updating the stock control system to manage inventory and ensure accurate tracking. Making sure that the stores housekeeping is maintained to the high standard required. Working with the team to meet and exceed customer expectations, service levels, and company standards while supporting profitability. What does it take to be a successful Stores Operative? You'll be: Clear communicator with good time management. Comfortable with manual tasks and lifting up to 25kg. Organised and able to prioritise workload. Team player with a positive attitude. Basic IT skills with the ability to learn an online stock management system. Previous experience of working in stores / warehousing environments would be advantageous. Interested?
