Teach Now is partnering with a popular secondary school in the Three Rivers district to appoint a compassionate, skilled SEN Tutor. This inclusive school is known for its calm, purposeful atmosphere, strong pastoral systems and a SEN team that champions every learner. Role
Working across KS3–KS5, you will deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions that build confidence and close gaps in literacy, numeracy and wider study skills. You’ll adapt materials to EHCP outcomes, use clear routines to support learners (including those with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and SEMH needs), and keep students engaged using pre-planned resources. When not tutoring, you’ll assist departments and contribute to a joined-up approach with class teachers, parents/carers and the SENCO.

* Track progress against SMART targets and update concise records.
* Implement reasonable adjustments and assistive strategies to remove barriers.
* Promote positive behaviour and independence, celebrating small wins that lead to big gains.
* Safeguard pupils and uphold school policies at all times.

About You
* Experience supporting secondary-aged pupils with SEND; tutoring or HLTA background is advantageous.
* Patient, resilient and solution-focused with excellent communication skills.
* Confident using data to inform next steps and celebrate progress.
