We’re looking for a talented Director of Operations to join this innovative team and establish the site as a Centre of Excellence for the group.

You’ll work closely with executive leadership and play a central role in shaping the future direction of the organisation across multiple functions.

Key accountabilities:
As Director of Operations, you will lead a workforce of 200+ colleagues across production, supply chain, logistics, and engineering. You will also provide vital leadership across all functions, bringing together and aligning onsite HR, Finance, commercial, functional, and operational leaders as an onsite leadership team.
The Director of Operations ensures Telford operational capabilities support commercial growth, customer delivery, and the company’s broader value creation objectives.
This position blends hands-on operational leadership with strategic vision, ensuring that operational capabilities not only meet current customer demands but also support future growth and value creation.

You are a proven operations leader with a strong track record of driving transformation and delivering results in complex manufacturing environments.
As Operations Director you will have:
* 15+ years in progressive operations leadership roles in complex manufacturing environments
* Demonstrated experience leading operations in both an engineer-to-order and make-to-order business, preferably in a low to medium volume electro-mechanical assembly and test environment.
* Track record of improving performance and leading change initiatives
* Strong financial and commercial acumen
Education:
* Degree in Engineering, Operations, or similar
* MBA or advanced qualification (preferred)
