We are currently seeking a Chef to join the kitchen team at a well-established and picturesque hotel located in the Sedgefield area. This is a temporary position with the strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role:
As a Chef, you will be an essential part of the kitchen operation, working alongside a dedicated team to prepare and serve a variety of fresh, high-quality dishes. Youll take pride in creating delicious meals that meet both the hotels standards and guests expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard
Supporting the Head Chef and kitchen team in daily kitchen operations
Ensuring all food hygiene and health & safety regulations are strictly followed
Helping to maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and food storage
Contributing ideas for menu development and improvements
Managing kitchen tasks during busy service periods with efficiency and care

Have previous experience working as a chef or in a similar kitchen role
Be confident in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
