Stratford-upon-Avon TA – Immediate Start
Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long-Term Hours: Full-Time
Salary: £85-£105 Per Day (Paid Weekly)
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Stratford-upon-Avon on a full-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a classroom setting.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
* Supporting learning across the primary curriculum, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis
* Assisting with classroom preparation and resource management
* Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
* Supporting pupils with varying needs, including SEND where required
* Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
* Assisting with supervision during break times and school activities
Ideal Candidate:
* Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2025 document)
* Previous experience working with children in a Primary School or similar setting
* A caring, patient and supportive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* A proactive and flexible attitude
