The Role

GBP 24,000+ (DOE).

Location: Wiltshire.

* You will play a key role in providing administrative and secretarial support to a high-performing conveyancing team.
* Responsibilities within this position include but are not limited to:
* Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence.
* Consulting with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors to facilitate smooth transactions.
* Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and arranging appointments.
* Handling file administration – opening, maintaining and closing client files.
* Conducting Land Registry checks and property searches.
* Assisting with post-completion tasks, including SDLT submissions.
* Supporting billing and file management to ensure matters progress efficiently from instruction to completion.


The Candidate

* You will have at least 1 year experience as a Legal Secretary or in a conveyancing support role.
* A good working knowledge of the residential conveyancing process is required.
* Must demonstrate fast and accurate typing, excellent document preparation skills and strong organisational ability.
* Confident, approachable and professional in all client interactions.
* Comfortable using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
