The role…
Our Databases and Analytics team within GlobalData Healthcare, Pharma requires an individual to help develop and refine the Pharmaceutical Business Fundamentals (Companies, Deals, News) Databases.
What you’ll be doing…
Product Support
* Work closely with local and offshore managers to ensure that project deliverables are met with high quality in supporting the Business Fundamentals databases
* Oversee and implement methods and processes for data collection from a range of information sources and to enhance the accuracy and scope of the databases
* Support planned enhancements of the Business Fundamentals databases by working with software teams in design, implementation and user acceptance testing of platform enhancements
* Support quality control of the databases
* Participate and subsequently manage weekly team meetings
* Produce monthly analyst briefings, white papers and any other reports required by the manager/company
Sales and Client Support
* Respond to client queries regarding the platform
* Clarify, manage and successfully implement customer expectations
* Support the sales team by participation in client meetings when requested
* Provide internal training presentations on platform enhancements to sales teams
* Support any new starters on any protocol and procedural training
* Coordinate and work closely with the India team to ensure that project deliverables are met with high quality
* Support Consulting team deliverables by coordinating with India team
What we’re looking for…
* A post graduate degree in Life Sciences with proven industry/commercial experience
* Sound understanding of pharmaceutical industry and drug development processes
* Understanding of corporate structures and regulatory filings
* Understanding of corporate financial reporting
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills
* Expertise in using Excel and ability to produce PowerPoint presentations
* High level of both written and verbal communication skills
* Focus on quality, process improvements and attention to detail
* Must be a team player and possess the ability to work well with global teams
* Experience in client interactions (written, verbal by web meetings, face to face) is desirable
* Experience in using AI /Snowflake is desirable
* Willingness to travel overseas if necessary
